Socking it

Spotted on the streets of NYC…..high socks……….what’s the verdict?

For me, this trend is just a little too risky in its style (i.e. the risks of getting it wrong are high!). Although I actually think all the lovely ladies below pull it off to somehow appear quite chic and fashionable, when I think about bringing it into the real world and wearing it myself, or seeing it on the street, somehow I feel this is a trend for the celebs only. But you may totally disagree……anyone tried it?

  2. I think it’s stylin’ and cute for a 20 something – not 1 second over that tho!

  3. I think I would be more apt to do the socks under tall boots rather than heels. I love the look but I’m not brave enough.

I actually have those black ones on the right, you just inspired to bust them out again! Kisses!

  5. A very hard trend and not to be worn by those over 20. Totally in Camp Cupcake.

    Bisous and enjoy NY!

  8. I totally want to join this trend, but I’m pretty sure I would look tarty. A shame, because it’s pretty.

  9. Thanks for this, I always have troubles matching knee socks with something!

  10. I don’t really like the look, but when paired with long boots, it doesn’t look bad. Just a bit peeking out is good.
